There are four games on the NHL schedule tonight, and we’re looking at props from three of them.
The pregame narrative: Jason Roberston faces an ideal matchup to exceed his shot total against the Minnesota Wild. Erik Karlsson is poised to get back on the scoresheet against the Philadelphia Flyers, while Brock Boeser has a low shot total against the New York Rangers.
Robertson has points in eight of his last nine games, notching four goals and 12 points in the process. In five of those nine games, the winger recorded at least five shots. Tonight against the Wild, he stands a good chance to get plenty of shots on net.
Minnesota is 1-4 over its last five games, allowing 31.2 shots per game over that span. This bodes well for the visiting Stars who, despite losing three straight, are still averaging 34 shots over their last five games.
Robertson’s production has persisted through Dallas’ recent slump. Tonight, he faces a matchup in which he has historically excelled.

In nine career games against Minnesota, Robertson has eight goals, seven assists and 39 shots. That includes three points and five shots during their most recent meeting in November, in which the Stars dominated the Wild, 8-3.
Key stat: Robertson has four-plus shots in five of his last seven games against Minnesota (71.4%).
The reigning Norris trophy winner has helped revive the Penguins’ power play recently, contributing assists on two of the unit's seven goals over the past 10 games.
Karlsson also has points in four of his last five games against Philadelphia, a team that has been struggling as of late. The Flyers have a 2-6 record over their last eight games and have been outscored by opponents 25-16 in losses.
Boeser over 2.5 shots (+100): Despite Boeser being in a scoring slump, he stands a good chance to exceed a relatively low shot prop tonight.

The winger has at least three shots in seven of his last 11 games, including three in the Canucks’ recent 5-3 win over the Devils.
While the New York Rangers are certainly a strong defensive team, they have dropped two of their last three games, including a loss to the Montreal Canadiens. With the Canucks still looking like juggernauts, consider taking Boeser to go over his shot total in New York.
